Refund Policy
Pay-per-Report ($7.99)
Once a report has been successfully generated and displayed, the underlying NMVTIS data and market-comp queries have already been paid for by us to our providers. Pay-per-report purchases are therefore non-refundable, with two exceptions:
- Technical failure: If the report never loads, returns no data, or the VIN is structurally invalid, we will issue a full refund or a free replacement report.
- Duplicate charge: Any accidental double-charge will be refunded within 5 business days.
Subscription Plans (Starter, Pro, Dealer)
You may cancel at any time from the Dashboard. When you cancel:
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- Unused reports do not roll over and are not refunded individually.
- We do not prorate partial-month cancellations.
Report Packs (10 / 25 / 50 / 100)
Report packs are pay-as-you-go bundles that stack on top of your subscription quota.
- Reports purchased in a pack never expire.
- Once a pack is purchased and any report from it has been generated, the pack is non-refundable.
- If no reports from the pack have been generated, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
AuctionEye Scout — Deposit Policy
When you request that your Scout bids on an auction lot for you (see our AuctionEye Scout service), a deposit is required before we submit a bid. We never ask for this deposit through a form or landing page. Once your bid request is received, your Scout contacts you directly by WhatsApp or email to verify identity, confirm the vehicle, and agree deposit amount and payment method one-on-one. This protects you from fraud.
Once the deposit is paid, these rules apply:
- We win at or below your max bid and you complete the purchase → deposit credits toward your final invoice.
- We lose the auction → at your choice, the deposit rolls to your next bid request, or we refund it within 5 business days.
- You cancel before we submit the bid → full deposit refund within 5 business days.
- We win at or below your max bid and you refuse to complete the purchase → deposit is forfeit (we are financially committed to the auction house at that point).
White-Label / Bulk Contracts
Bulk credits expire 18 months from purchase and are non-refundable once issued. Contact your account manager for any disputes.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Most issues can be resolved within one business day. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension.
How to Request a Refund
Email billing@myauctioneye.com from the address on your account with your order reference. We respond within one business day.
